Tuesday, September 20: Part I of 3-part series: “Who Are Our Students and How Do We Meaningful Engage Them?” Dr. Casey presents information on Millennials. RSVP required; limited to 20 participants.

Thursday, September 22: New Faculty Orientation Program continues with a discussion of teaching. By invitation only.

Thursday, October 20: Part II of 3-part series: “Who Are Our Students?” – Suzanne Nida will discuss how students learn writing – and how they are not taught. Peter Craig will discuss the difficulties facing science and math faculty with math preparation and what can be done about it.

Tuesday, October 25: ODMA will present “Creating Supportive Classroom Environments for Students from Diverse Backgrounds.”

Tuesday, November 15: Part III of 3-part series of “Who Are Our Students”: How Can Technology Reach our Students? Meaningfully? What are the limits of technology and this generation? Esther Iglich, Steve Kerby, Chris Mathews, Anita Thiernan will lead a discussion on this topic.
